Testimonials

Henrique & Angela

I want to express how lucky and blessed I feel that I was fortunate enough to have you as my engagement photographer. I never expected the product that you gave me, it is out of this world and I don't think words can do this feeling justice. To say that I'll be able to create a scrap book illustrating one of the biggest moments of our lives, being able to pass it down to our children, being able to revisit the day as if it were yesterday due to the perfect capture of raw emotion is literally PRICELESS.

FAQ

Do you hide? How do you make sure my partner doesn't see you?

This depends on the location. For example, if you choose the National Mall I'll pretend I'm a tourist, so I am hidden in plain sight. If it's a more secluded location I'll hide in the bushes or ducking behind trees. If there's no place to hide I can pretend I'm landscape photographer, bird watcher or anything else that will make sense for the situation - according to my clients my acting skills are very good!

What's a good cover story for the propsoal?

The simplest one is to set up date night and make a dinner reservation near where you'd like to propose and go for a walk before. Another option is to "schedule a photoshoot" for the two of you that your partner knows about. That way, they're expecting a photographer so it's not suspicious when I'm there. Brunch plans or watching the sunrise from a beautiful spot are also very good plans! Plus its perfect to have your partner dressed up and camera-ready for these photos that they don’t know are happening.

How does the whole process work?

1. Fill out my contact form with all your details, and we’ll schedule a phone call to discuss your proposal plans.
2. Sign the contract and pay online to secure your date and time.
3. We will coordinate the location and time.
4. On the day of your proposal I'll wait for your text to coordinate your ETA and any final details.
5. You propose, your partner says yes, and everyone celebrates! Then we’ll have some time to take some portraits of you two around the location you’ve chosen.
6. Highlight photos will be delivered within 24 hours to immediately share with family and friends.
7. Full gallery with edited and high resolution images will be delivered in 2 weeks.

How long does it take to take the portraits after the proposal?

The coverage is for about 1 hour, usually 15 minutes for the proposal moment and then the other ones for all the posed + candid photos.

How many photos will we receive?

There's no limited amount, so you will receive all the photos from the day! Edited, high resolution and watermark free.

Is it always a surprise or sometimes the other person know about the photos?

There's two ways of having your proposal photographed:
1. I hide at the place at the time we’ve pre-selected and I capture the moment from far, so your partner has no idea I’m there.
2. You book a “couples session”. Your unsuspecting, future fiancé(e) just thinks that regular photos are being taken, but you plan to pop the question during the shoot.
